About the role
We're seeking a creative and enthusiastic Digital Designer to join our multidisciplinary team. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, web developers, and digital marketing experts to design new websites and digital assets and contribute to branding and identity projects. While we welcome generalist designers, a strong understanding of UI/UX best practices for websites and web applications is crucial.
As a key member of CORE, you will play a valuable role in maintaining our high-quality delivery for discerning clients. You will also contribute to CORE's creative direction, company website, social media, and other marketing materials.
We are open to a range of experience levels, but you must demonstrate a strong portfolio of similar projects, showcasing your ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines and as part of a professional team.
We're looking to fill this role by October 2025.

- Passion and professionalism: Organized, methodical, creative, and passionate, eager to contribute to a friendly team delivering great digital projects.
- Strong portfolio: A versatile portfolio showcasing strong work across diverse sectors.
- Enthusiasm and creativity: A passion for and understanding of current design trends (across multiple mediums and sectors).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with designers, project managers, and clients to establish requirements.
- Staying current with the latest design trends, techniques, and tools.
- Conducting user-focused research and usability best practices.
- Researching and planning creative solutions.
- Presenting ideas for internal review.
- Delivering high-quality UI/UX mockups and responsive prototypes (using Figma).
- Preparing Dev links, design systems and assets for build.
- Designing and producing artwork for non-digital assets (using Adobe software).
- Reviewing and contributing work at various project lifecycle stages.
- Ensure designs meet current digital accessibility standards.
Desirable skills and attributes:
- Good understanding of the web design and development lifecycle (planning to deployment).
- Up to date knowledge of Figma and Adobe software.
- A strong portfolio featuring examples of digital work.
- Understanding of digital marketing campaigns and techniques.
- Clear and rational communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing priorities.
- Openness to constructive feedback and critique of creative work.
- Keen eye for detail and proficiency with current design and layout tools.
- Project management and professional workflow experience, using tools such as Slack, Asana, Jira, Trello etc.
- Agency experience (beneficial but not essential).
- Confidence in presenting ideas to internal teams and clients.
